The private pay rate is $150 per therapy session. If you are using health insurance, it will be billed to your insurance and the amount may vary what you owe depending on your plan. I encourage anyone using health insurance to check with their plan to understand what their benefits for psychotherapy services are. The therapy session is 53 minutes from the scheduled session time.

I am currently in the process of trying to become paneled with other insurance companies as well. If I am not in network with your insurance I am able to provide a super bill if needed. A super bill can be submitted to your insurance company if your plan offers reimbursements for out of network services. You can contact your insurance plan to see if they offer reimbursement for super bills for psychotherapy before starting. You are responsible for providing that documentation to your insurance provider and negotiating costs with them.
EMDR therapy is charged at the same rate as a typical therapy session, which is $150 per session for private pay, or can be billed to your insurance if I'm in network with your health insurance plan.
EMDR can be a helpful modality of therapy if you have experienced trauma or if you have past experiences that feel "stuck" in your memory. EMDR aims to reduce distress in your body and negative beliefs about yourself.
A letter of readiness for gender affirming care can typically be completed in one session. One session costs $150 for private pay, or can be billed to your insurance if I'm in network with them.
Yes, if you cancel less than 48 hours before the scheduled session time, you will be charged the full session rate ($150). If you cancel 48 hours or more before the scheduled session time, you will not be charged.
A super bill is a summary of all the healthcare services you have received. The process is:
You see me for an individual therapy session.
After the session, you pay $150.
I create a super bill, including information about your session, your diagnosis, treatment plan, and the amount you paid, and send that to you.
You submit the super bill to your insurance company.
If your insurance company and plan will cover your service, they reimburse you.
Please note that if you wish to work with insurance, I am required to provide a diagnosis, your legal name, and services provided on your super bill.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency session, including therapy. You can ask your therapist for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a session.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Learn more about a Good Faith Estimate here.
