About Me

Who I Am

Hi, I'm Em (she/they). I am passionate about providing equitable, inclusive, and strengths-based mental health care to those navigating life's challenges. I believe in the power of therapy to foster healing, growth, and connection, and my approach is centered around meeting you where you are and supporting you as the whole person you are.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from individuals navigating trauma and mental health challenges to those exploring their identities and relationships. I am committed to creating a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space for all individuals.

My professional experiences have deepened my understanding of the complex ways in which mental health, identity, and societal systems intersect. If you’re ready to start the therapeutic process or want to learn more about how we can work together, I invite you to reach out. Together, we can work to meet your goals.

My Approach

My approach is informed by both my formal education and my personal commitment to social justice. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and I am continually fueled by my work with individuals who are navigating complex intersections of identity.

I believe that therapy is a collaborative process where we work together to reach your goals. I use a combination of EMDR (and other trauma-informed approaches), DBT, and a person-centered framework to ensure that my clients feel heard, empowered, and supported.

Some of the areas I specialize in include:

  • Trauma/Anxiety/Depression

  • Identity Exploration/LGBTQIA+/Polyamory/Non-Monogamy

  • Neurodivergent Support

I understand that it can be difficult to take the first step, but I am confident that therapy is a powerful tool for growth, and I am here to support you every step of the way. I look forward to the opportunity to work together and support you in achieving your goals.
